Mikaella Polyviou, ASU
Mikaella Polyviou, Assistant Professor, Arizona State University
Mikaella Polyviou studies the role of individuals and the firm in improving firm resilience to supply chain disruptions. At the individual level, she examines how managers react to supply chain disruptions and make sourcing decisions afterward. At the firm level, she examines a firm's capabilities and supply chain strategies that reduce the probability and impact of supply chain disruptions. Her research on supply chain disruptions has earned funding from various associations, including the Arizona Coalition for Healthcare Emergency Response (AzCHER), the Institute for Supply Management (ISM), and the National Center for the Middle Market. She serves on the Editorial Review Board of Decision Sciences and the Journal of Business Logistics.
She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Cyprus and a Master's and Ph.D. from The Ohio State University. She has also been a Fulbrighter twice, attending Boston University and The Ohio State University.
