  • The companies we surveyed said the most effective compensation for retaining early-career employees was: 
    • Performance bonuses – 62%
    • Formal justification of all raises & bonuses – 54%
  • Least Effective?
    • Pay audits to ensure equity, based on gender, race, age, etc. 36%
    • Long-term incentives (e.g. stock or stock options) – 35%
