Pushing Green: Driving Sustainability in Supply Management and throughout the Supply Chain

(TEMPE, Arizona) January 3, 2012 — Supply management professionals are uniquely positioned to influence a firm's environmental sustainability efforts and also the performance of supply base partners in this area. Many recognize the altruistic and commercial benefits of such a program, but struggle with the details of appropriate expectations, implementation, and execution. This report details some of the critical issues that face professionals as they strive to implement environmental sustainability standards in their own practices and in the supply base.
