CAPS Research Elects MasterCard's Deborah Stanton to Its Board of Trustees
(TEMPE, Arizona) October 19, 2010 — The CAPS Research Board of Trustees recently
elected a leading supply management professional from the Financial Services Industry,
Deborah Stanton, to serve as a Trustee. Stanton is Chief Procurement Officer and
Group Executive, Global Supply Chain and Corporate Services for MasterCard Worldwide.
Stanton leads several groups at MasterCard that include Global Supply Management,
Purchasing Center of Excellence, Facilities Management, Global Real Estate, Corporate
Travel Services, Meeting Services, and a Six Sigma Process Improvement Team.
Ms. Stanton joined MasterCard in April 2009. Prior to her joining MasterCard she
held various global leadership positions in supply management with Honeywell, Whirlpool,
and Temple-Inland. In each of these roles, she was instrumental in building advanced
supply management organizations that delivered significant value to the company.
Earlier in her career she also held positions in e-Commerce, Information Technology
and Engineering Administration.
