Schneider Electric Vice President Elected to CAPS Research Board of Trustees
(TEMPE, Arizona) August 12, 2009 — The CAPS Research Board of Trustees recently
elected a leading supply management professional from the electrical industry, Jeffrey
Wood, to serve as a Trustee. Wood is vice president, supply management for Schneider
Electric North American Operating Division, and is responsible for the organization's
North American purchasing operations including commodity management, upstream supply
chain management, direct and indirect procurement, supplier quality and supply management
systems.

Electric as director of advanced manufacturing and strategy in 2005, and in that
same year, was appointed to his current role as vice president of supply management.
Prior to joining Schneider Electric, Wood spent 12 years at the General Electric
Company holding positions in manufacturing operations, continuous improvement, quality
management, materials and supply chain. He is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and
Master Black Belt.
