Rolls-Royce Corporation Executive Vice President Elected to CAPS Research Board
of Trustees
(TEMPE, Arizona) April 28, 2008 – The CAPS Research Board of Trustees recently elected
a leading supply management professional from the Aerospace & Defense industry,
Beverly Gaskin, to serve as a Trustee. Gaskin is the Executive Vice President of
Supply Management at Rolls-Royce North America, and is responsible for developing
the company's supply chain strategies and policies with regionally-based suppliers.
Rolls-Royce North America provides land, sea and air power solutions worldwide.
CAPS Research is a globally recognized supply management research organization affiliated
with the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University, and the Institute
for Supply Management (ISM). The Board of Trustees is responsible for setting overall
operating policies and procedures, and establishing key research programs.
Gaskin is also responsible for optimizing the company's supply chain value through
stabilization of the supply base, and growing capabilities and driving efficiency
and effectiveness across several Rolls-Royce businesses headquartered in the United
States including Energy, Corporate and Regional Aircraft, Helicopters & Small Gas
Turbine Engines, and Defense North America. Rolls-Royce North America has annual
spend in excess of $1.4 billion in the U.S. and Canada.
Prior to joining Rolls-Royce North America in September 2006, Gaskin was the Director
of Global Supply Chain Management at Delphi Steering business. She is an accomplished
supply management professional with an outstanding record of success in global strategic
sourcing, supplier quality, supplier development and cost savings.
