Cross-Industry Metric Report May 2010
The Cross-Industry Report of Standard Benchmarks, published twice-yearly, contains
data on 20 commonly referenced benchmarks. The May 2010 report includes data provided
by more than 200 companies representing 14 different industry sectors. This report
includes key performance indicators for different industry sectors including purchasing
operating expense, training spend, diversity spend, total spend as a percent of
revenue, supply management organization operating costs, purchase order cycle times,
and employee retention.
Focused Topic Benchmarking:
Assessing Supplier Financial Strength and Dependency Metric Report 2010
This report brings into focus the need for companies to spot weaknesses within their
supply base and act quickly to avoid disruptions caused by supplier vulnerabilities.
It includes an overview of how organizations assess the risk tolerance of their
suppliers by measuring and evaluating their financial health, organizational stability,
and customer-dependency.

11th Annual Best Practices Workshop – This CAPS Research

event, taking place in Phoenix, Arizona, September 26 – 28, 2010, offers highly
facilitated group discussions on specific subjects and provides extensive networking

Critical Issue Partnership Event – "Successful Capital Projects
in Uncertain Times" will be the focus of this two-day sponsor event co-sponsored
