Benchmarking Opportunities
Cross-Industry Benchmarking:
Our goal for 2010 is to develop a cross-industry report that includes data from
at least 300 companies. The success of this highly regarded benchmarking program
is due to our ability to work with different organizations within different industry
sectors to collect fresh data on key metrics. The survey has only 16 questions from
which we harvest 20 different benchmarks. If your company completes the survey we
will provide you a summary report that shows how your company compares to others
within your industry sector. As you may already know, we do not release any information
about the companies who participate in the cross-industry benchmarking survey. The
2010 cross-industry survey was released earlier this week. The 2009 report can be
found on the CAPS Research web site www.capsresearch.org.
If you have any questions or need additional information please contact the benchmarking
team at metrics@capsresearch.org.
Surveys in Data Collection:
- The SnapShots survey "Measuring and Monitoring Supplier Risk"
has extended data collection through March 26.
Surveys to be Released:
- Cross-Industry Report of Standard Benchmarks – Week of March 22, 2010
- Industrial Manufacturing – Week of March 29, 2010

Do You Want To Benchmark? If the answer is "Yes," contact the Benchmarking team
at CAPS Research to get your company added to the list of companies who will be
