- The 20th Annual International Executive Roundtable will be held April 15
- 17, 2009 in Scottsdale, Arizona. This year we celebrate 20 years of hosting
Executive Roundtables for chief purchasing officers. The theme is, "Supply Management:
Strategies for Superior Results in Turbulent Times." Amid unprecedented business
uncertainty, there is no better time to gain insights into successful strategy steps.

- Executive Assessment - Are you ready to facilitate your organization's
transformation to excellence? The CAPS Research executive assessment process helps
supply management leaders determine the importance placed on their organization's
critical supply strategies. The assessments are designed to help senior executives
facilitate their organization's transformation by validating the current implementation
state of their critical sourcing and supply chain strategies. For information on

- The CAPS Research 2008 Annual Report provides a financial summary,

Benchmarking Opportunities:
- Utilities Industry Sustainability Benchmarking: The Electric Utilities
Industry Sustainable Supply Chain Alliance has partnered with CAPS Research to develop
a survey to measure the environmental sustainability of their top suppliers. The
Alliance was formed to work with suppliers to improve performance and advance sustainable
business practices. The group plans to develop supply chain practices that focus
on environmental stewardship and also provide value for customers and shareholders.
The survey is scheduled for release on April 28th, 2009.
- Cross-Industry Benchmarking:
The highly regarded Cross-Industry Report of Standard Benchmarks has been revised
starting with an updated survey that will be released on March 24th, 2009. The survey
will be open for data collection until April 17th, 2009. Last year, 250 companies
participated in this benchmarking opportunity. If you or someone at your organization
has not received information about how to participate, contact the CAPS Research
benchmarking team at: metrics@capsresearch.org. The Cross-Industry report provides
a standard set of key metrics that measure supply management performance across
various industry sectors.
- Benchmarking surveys in data collection:
-The Aerospace/Defense industry-specific survey is open for data
collection until April 3rd.
-The Investment Recovery Survey (asset disposition or reutilization)
is open until March 27th.
- New surveys scheduled for release:
-The highly successful Market Basket of Goods for MRO Products
will be released on March 17th and will remain open for data collection until April
10th.
There are three industry-specific surveys scheduled to be released on April 7th,
2009:
-Petroleum Industry
-Semiconductor Industry
-Utilities Industry

be asked to provide data for the 2009 Cross-Industry Report of Standard Benchmarks.
