Data gathered for the recently published benchmark report on eProcurement tools
and technologies indicates that 85% of the total spend for goods and services as
reported is analyzed using software or web-based technologies. Furthermore, the
participants reported a significant increase in eReverse auction spend and a corresponding
increase in eReverse auction events.
